Incident Data

StreetLight's data foundry includes rich data about incidents on roadways to help ascertain the crash risk or schedule risk of certain routes or drivers. The incident data and associated proprietary scores can answer question like:

• How many crashes have there been on this segment of road, and how does crash risk here relate to driver demographic, weather, traffic, etc?
• In case of a certain type of incident on this road segment, what is the expected impact on traffic?
• Where are incidents of a certain type more likely to occur, given certain weather and traffic conditions?

The Route Science platform combines this data with other data about environment, driver behavior, demographics, roadway conditions, and traffic to provide novel insights into site selection, usage based insurance, and transportation services.
