Roadway Conditions

Roadway Conditions are a special type of environmental data that have a very strong effect on scoring for crash risk and other metrics. Roadway conditions include factors such as pavement condition, pavement iciness/wetness, current construction/roadwork status, and historical and real time traffic conditions.

The Route Science platform combines this data with other data about environment, driver behavior, incidents, demographics, and traffic to provide novel insights into site selection, usage based insurance, and transportation services.
