Chris Gregerson with Kimley-Horn & Associates discusses the many applications of StreetLight Data, including modeling intersection turning movement volumes, trip length for VMT, cut-through traffic, and many more. Gregerson also shares how StreetLight has filled data gaps during the COVID-19 pandemic, and when historical data was missing.
Rob Schiffer, with FuturePlan Consulting, shares his work developing a Mobility Plan and Impact Fee for Walton County, Florida. In this project, StreetLight Data allowed Schiffer and his team to quickly analyze county travel demand and better understand seasonal variations in travel patterns.
Ryan Brown, with the Sarasota/Manatee MPO, discusses how StreetLight Data supported the development of the MPO’s Active Transportation Plan by defining transit trip patterns for all income levels, over eight different time periods, across the two counties. This nuanced data helped Brown and his team prioritize bike, pedestrian, and transit projects for this region planning effort.
